After two years of record-low ratings, both CBS News executives and people close to Katie Couric say that the "CBS Evening News" anchor is likely to leave the network well before her contract expires in 2011 -- possibly soon after the presidential inauguration early next year.

NBC’s Engel: Petraeus keeps changing "rules of the game"

Yesterday on NBC Nightly News, Middle East Correspondent Richard Engel sharply criticized the testimony of Amb. Ryan Crocker and Gen. David Petraeus. He said that the Bush administration originally promised that troops could “pull back” once “conditions on the ground improved],” but nevertheless, the troops still “have to stay.”

We'll be straight with you -- it's a bit of a mystery what exactly is going on here, but famed Wii hacker Waninkoko has apparently figured out a way to take Virtual Console titles and play them on another Wii. The good news? There's a video -- which many aren't hesitating to blast with "fake!" -- of the trick posted after the jump.

As with many of you who are interested in being up to date with technological news, i too go about taking my daily doze from various tech sites and blogs. Most frequent being Gizmodo and Engadget. Over time i have come to notice that a very high percentage of the breaking news and articles are practically the same on both these blogs.
