Even though the Emmy nominations won't be announced until July 17th, recently the Emmy voting process narrows down the vote first to a top 10 semifinalists in the best drama and best comedy categories before they cut it down further to the final 5. Here are the lists:

On CBC Newsworld today the CBC's reporter, Paul Hunter, said "About half the Afghans turned and fled, so there's clearly some work to be done see box at right in link below]." But now he's rather changed the words he uses in print--see bolded bit below.
